Our commitment

We adhere to the 13 Information Privacy Principles (IPPs) under the Privacy Act 2020. This means we will collect information only where necessary for a lawful purpose, collect directly from you wherever possible, obtain your consent where required, notify you of the purpose of collection, take reasonable steps to ensure your information is accurate and secure, allow you to access and correct your information, and only disclose information where permitted by law or with your consent.

How we collect your information

We collect personal information when you engage our services, complete forms or provide information via phone, email, or our website, or interact with us as an employee, contractor, or referral partner. Where we collect your information from third parties, we will take reasonable steps to notify you of the collection, its purpose, intended recipients, and your rights.

Use of information

We use your personal information to provide financial advice and related services, communicate with you, meet legal and regulatory obligations, and improve our services. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information.

Disclosure of information

We may disclose your personal information to product providers and financial institutions, referral partners (where you have consented), professional advisers, regulatory or oversight bodies (including the Financial Markets Authority, FSCL, and the licence holder, Avon Financial Services Limited), and third-party service providers who support our business operations. We may also disclose where required by law.

Storage and security

Your personal information is stored securely using internal systems and trusted cloud-based platforms, which may be hosted overseas. We take reasonable steps to ensure information is protected from loss, misuse, or unauthorised access, restrict access to authorised personnel, and that third-party providers maintain appropriate privacy safeguards.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction of your information, and request that a statement of correction be attached if we do not agree to a correction. We will respond to requests within 20 working days.
